Please take a moment to review our Refund & Shipping Policy, which is designed to ensure transparency and clear communication for our cow share purchases and pre-order model.
Pre-Order / Cow Share Purchases
We operate on a cow share pre-order model, meaning that when you place an order with us, you are purchasing a share of beef from a specific cow that will be processed by our trusted butcher. Please note the following important details:
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required when you place your cow share order. This deposit secures your share of the beef.
Balance Payment: Once your order has been processed by our butcher, we will notify you and request the remaining balance to be paid prior to delivery. The balance must be paid before the beef can be delivered to you.
Delivery Timing: We will ship your beef once the butcher has finished processing your order, and the balance has been paid. The processing time may vary depending on the butcher’s schedule, but we will keep you updated on the estimated delivery timeframe.
Please note, as we operate our meat sales on a pre-order basis, delivery timing is based on our butcher’s processing schedule and the availability of the beef. We will inform you of any potential delays or changes to your order timeline.
Shipping Policy
We take great care to ensure that your beef arrives in perfect condition, and we’ve implemented special packaging to guarantee freshness:
Packaging: Your beef will be carefully packed with refrigeration or frozen cooling aids such as ice packs to maintain its quality during transit. We aim to ensure that your order arrives at its destination as fresh as possible.
Shipping Method: All meat orders are shipped via reliable carriers and must be received promptly upon delivery to ensure the product remains in optimal condition.
Delivery Areas: We offer free meat delivery to suburbs within a 50km radius of Dandenong (3175) to maintain our ‘fresh and local’ values.
Non Meat Product Delivery: We offer delivery Australia wide for non-meat products such as beef tallow.

Refund Policy
We want you to be fully satisfied with your cow share purchase. However, due to the nature of our pre-order model and the perishable nature of the product, our refund and replacement policy has specific guidelines:
Refunds:
Deposits: The deposit for your cow share is non-refundable. Once your pre-order is placed, you are committing to purchasing the beef share.
Balance Payments: The remaining balance must be paid once the beef has been processed. If, for any reason, you do not complete the payment for the balance, we may consider your order canceled, and your deposit will be forfeited.
Exceptions for Refunds and Replacements:
Damaged or Defective Products: If your beef arrives damaged, defective, or of unacceptable quality, we will issue a refund or, in some cases, process a replacement. However, replacements can only be made once our next cow share pre-sale goes live, as beef is processed in batches. Alternatively, we can issue a full refund for defective products.

Provide photographs of the damaged goods to assist with the claim process.
We will assess the situation and offer you either a replacement (available during the next cow share pre-sale) or a refund.

Order Changes and Cancellations
Pre-Order Commitment: Once your cow share order is placed and the deposit has been made, the order is locked, and changes or cancellations cannot be processed. Please review your order carefully before confirming.
Order Modifications: If you notice an error with your order after placing it, please contact us within [X hours/days]. We will do our best to accommodate changes. After this period, we cannot guarantee modifications.
Delivery Issues
Lost or Delayed Deliveries: While we take great care in preparing and shipping your order, once it’s in the hands of the courier, we cannot be held responsible for delays or lost shipments. Please contact the courier directly if there is an issue with your delivery.
Incorrect Shipping Address: Please ensure that your shipping address is correct at checkout. If there’s an issue with the address provided, please contact us immediately. We are not liable for shipping errors due to incorrect address information.
